This year, Tekno-Medical presented itself to the Arab- and international audience as an exhibitor in the modern Pavilion of our home region Baden-Württemberg. The product highlights included the new multifunction system VISO NIR with fluorescence imaging and the new OPTIO5 pump, which impresses with its wide range of applications. Since the first event in 1977, Arab Health has been one of the most important fairs of global medical technology and is becoming increasingly important internationally as a communication platform.

As in previous years, this year's motto for Tekno-Medical is "donation instead of presents". With our donation we want to help "Aktion Deutschland hilft; Bündnis deutscher Hilfsorganisationen - emergency aid for Ukraine". War has been raging in Ukraine since February 2022. Millions of children, women and men fear for their lives and their future. These alliance organisations provide emergency aid to the people - in Ukraine, on the run and in the countries of refuge. Together, quickly and in a coordinated manner.

At the new designed trade fair booth, the personal reunion with our customers and business partners was the central element of Medica 2022. The individual and personal exchange with many long-standing Tekno customers and partners as well as the generation of numerous new contacts made our trade fair appearance at the Düsseldorf Medica in this year to great success. With expertise and consulting skills, the Tekno sales team was able to present exciting new products such as the ICG/NIR camera system for fluorescence imaging and the new spine retractor systems and to invite to a professional exchange of experience about future trends in the medical technology.

After a one-year break due to Corona, Tekno-Medical presents the new VISO NIR multifunctional system with fluorescence imaging to the Arab and international trade public at Arab Health in Dubai. After last year's exclusively virtual Medica due to Corona restrictions, the central element of this year's 4-day trade fair was the personal reunion with our customers and business partners. The individual personal exchange with many long-standing Tekno customers and partners and the aquisition of numerous new customers made our presence at this year's Medica in Düsseldorf a great success. With expertise and consulting competence, the Tekno sales team could present exciting product innovations and invite to a professional exchanges of experience about future trends in the industry of medical technology. Our innovations include for example the ICG/NIR camera system for fluorescence imaging and new spine retractor systems.

Celebrate as they fall. It was so nice to finally sit together again and enjoy a lovely regional meal together. At this year's summer party, the focus was on celebrating together - after a long period of distancing ourselves due to Covid-19 restrictions. So we enjoyed delicious food of Foodtruck Catering 24 from Sigmaringen. For the main course, there were incredibly tasty and varied burger and fry variations. For dessert, brownies, panna cotta with red fruits and fresh waffles were on offer. We really enjoyed it together and had a wonderful party.

With the campaign "Stadtradeln - Radeln für ein gutes Klima" (City cycling - cycling for a good climate), which run from 28 June to 18 July 2021, Tuttlingen was pedalling for 3 weeks. Tekno-Medical and mediplus participated as a team with full vigour to pedal for 21 days for more cycling promotion, climate protection and liveable circumstances in Tuttlingen. Therefore, it is important to diligently collect cycling kilometres, whether for business or pleasure.

We successfully passed our audit on 12th and 13th May 2020 and achieved all test criteria. As part of the so-called monitoring audit that our existing certification is reviewed, an auditor from the designated body mdc audited our company for two days. Our quality management system was checked for the effectiveness and maintenance of compliance in accordance with the following ISO 13485:2016.

We are delighted with this positive result and would like to thank Ulrich Spaett (Head of Quality Management and International Registration) and his team for their great commitment and excellent preparation, as well as the entire staff for their support.

In May 2021 our company Tekno-Medical participated in the China International Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF) and proudly presented the product range as well as all innovations to the Asia-Pacific and international professional audience. Since the launch in 1979, CMEF has become one of the largest fairs for medical devices in the Asian-Pacific region and is now moving forward with a Corona re-start.

More than 4,000 reowned exhibitors from over 28 countries demonstrated their new products and services for the medical technology industry. With approximately 111,000 visitors from numerous countries, CMEF is a major international trade fair for the entire medical sector. Tekno-Medical took the opportunity to maintain existing business relationships and to establish new contacts. We are looking forward to participate next year and, above all, to being able to present our new products personally.

Due to all our activities for the special protection of employees and customers, Tekno-Medical receives the certificate "certified company with regard to "SARS-CoV-2 health and safety standard" according to the guidelines of the German Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (BMAS). This certificate evidences all technical, organisational and personal safety precautions by COVID 19 such as workplace design, sanitary and break rooms, ventilation, home office, business trips, meetings, safety distances, work equipment and tools, access to the premises, protective equipment and disinfection, occupational health care and protection of vulnerable persons.

Tekno-Medical has implemented all the protective precautions and safety determinations that have arisen from Corona in our daily professional life. All employees are provided with appropriate equipment and all other measures to protect you and us are implemented. Tekno-Medical is therefore well and far-sightedly prepared for the current and upcoming situation. All departments such as production, picking, sales and customer service, the back office with quality management, product management and project management are fully staffed. Tekno-Medical supports you optimally and 100 % service-oriented as usual.

In autumn 2019, the international trade fair for medical devices, services and equipment for healthcare took place in Argentina, which has established itself as the largest trade fair in the spanish-speaking area and the most important meeting place for the industry. For the first time, Tekno Medical successfully presented the comprehensive product portfolio as well as all innovations and took advantage of the opportunity to maintain relationships to existing business partners and to establish new contacts.

More than 200 well-known exhibitors from all over the South American region presented their new products and services for the medical technology industry. With about 15,000 visitors, over 90 seminars and 300 speakers, ExpoMEDICAL is an important international trade fair for the entire Spanish-speaking world.

We are looking forward to participate next year again and even more to present our new products to you personally.

Last weekend, some Tekno-Medical employees took part in the 16th edition of Run & fun Tuttlingen. On Saturday, Tekno-runners attended the 10km run. All runners have successfully achieved the goal with sporty ambition and joy and can be proud of their performance!

Today's trainees and students are significantly influencing the future potential of tomorrow. Employees do not need only expertise, but also the so-called soft skills such as team skills. To strengthen precisely this team spirit and communicative competence, Tekno-Medical organized a team-building day for its young employees in the Escape Room at the Refugium in Immendingen. The currently 4 trainees and 3 students have solved the mysterious puzzles in the dragon and unicorn room. The puzzles gave the trainees an overview of the basic puzzle concepts in Escape Rooms - there are both optical and acoustic, as well as combinatorial colour and number puzzles.
